Naughty Dog rumoured to be working on a PS5 remake of The Last of Us - grayroyes1945
Reports are circulating that a PlayStation 5 refashion of The Last of U.S. is in development at Naughty Dog.
Accordant to a report from Bloomberg on PlayStation's first party studios, the project was originally in development from a small team oriented up by Sony Corporation's Seeable Arts Service Group's Michael Mumbauer. Allegedly, a chemical group of about 30 developers from that department —WHO normally worked in a support role to other PlayStation exclusives such as Marvel's Wanderer-Man—were first intending to remake the original Unmapped until they decided to change tack imputable cost and additional design issues of that as their first projection.
Instead, says the report, the squad (which ne'er got an official name) decided to settle on a remake of The Last of Us equally they felt it would be an easier deal to the high-ups and set to operate, even apparently put collectively a paradigm of the project, codenamed T1X aside the Outpouring of 2019. Still it's same that when The Shoemaker's last of Us Split up II was delayed last year, Mumbauer's team was reassigned to support Naughty Canis familiaris in finish that plot, and in doing soh the project was moved under Naughty Frankfurter's budget and remit at one time The Last of Us Part II was out of the door. Although, the move did result in the departure of Michael Mumbauer and David Hall by the end of 2020.
It needs to be noted that all of this should still be taken with a pinch of sharp, arsenic there's currently nobelium official watchword from Naughty Weenie, and Sony experience apparently declined to comment entirely on the reports. For now, we'll have to wait and see if anything comes of these rumours; in the lag,The Last of Us television serial publication is currently in development at HBO.
